During the academic year, around 80 International missionaries live and study with our Foundations Project in Italy.
In the summer, these Sisters travel around the world to assist in the Filia Project, the City of Charity Project, and the Feet on the Ground Project. This summer, Foundations sisters traveled to Ukraine, Slovakia, Iceland, Austria, Spain, Ireland, Greece, France, Italy, and Portugal.
while these sisters were away from home, many young people from Spain came to help in the Foundations Project.
Our volunteers from spain helped repaint our kitchen and sewing room so that they would be ready when the foundations missionaries return home.
On their day off, the sisters bring the volunteers to Rome!
Volunteering is an opportunity to create a positive impact on society by helping in hospitals, schools, homes, oratories, parishes, and villages within the 30 mission countries of the Religious Family of the Incarnate Word.
