Set for the Summer!

Update from the Foundations Project! 50 International missionaries in formation help at our missions in Europe for the summer. At the end of May, these sisters departed for Albania, Iceland, Spain, Italy, Portugal, ireland, and Greece! The Summer activities involve the Filia Projects camps for girls, assisting in homes of mercy for orphaned children, and accompanying school groups from all over the world. Hiking Mt. Coropuna

In Chuquibamba, Peru our home for children hiked the tallest and largest volcano in Peru:  Nevado Coropuna, sitting at 6377 m/20922 ft. The base of the volcano is only about a half-hour drive from the home in Chuquibamba. To hike to the top from the base camp takes 2-3 days, but the views and short hikes around the volcano kept everyone enthused. Icon Workshops for a Culture of Art

In Ukraine, the houses of studies held a workshop on icon painting.  The study of art elevates the culture and produces fruit in the different projects that our sisters will undertake.
